Getmore is a parent-facing notification app for schools and institutes across Sri Lanka. Parents link their children to their school or institute and receive instant notifications for payments, attendance, news, and other announcements – all in one app, even across multiple children and multiple institutes.
Getmore is available as a native mobile app for parents on both iOS (Apple App Store) and Android (Google Play Store). Institutes manage and send their notifications through the separate Getmore Education platform.
Yes, Getmore is completely free for parents, always, no matter which institutes your children attend. See the Pricing & Plans section below for how institutes join the platform.
After registering as a parent, search our directory of 500+ Sri Lankan institutes and subscribe to your child's school or institute. Then tap “Add Student” and enter their institute student ID along with the parent phone number registered with that institute – we verify both before linking your child to your account.
If your child's institute isn’t listed yet, tap “Request Institution” inside the app or email us at support@getmore.lk. Our team reaches out to the institute directly and typically onboards it within 3 to 5 business days.
Yes. Institute staff can send news and general notifications to every subscribed parent through the Getmore Education platform, and these arrive on parents’ phones in real time.
Only parents who are verified with the institute student ID and registered phone number can link to a child. Device management lets you see the name and device of everyone connected to your child, so you always know who has access, and you can remove a device at any time.
We utilize end-to-end TLS 1.3 encryption for data in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. We never sell student or parent records to third parties. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Yes, Getmore is completely free for parents, always. There is no charge to download the app, link your children, or receive payment, attendance, news, and general notifications, regardless of which institute they attend.
Institutes already using Getmore Educational Student Management get the parent notification app at no extra cost. Institutes that aren’t on our education management software pay a monthly subscription to make Getmore available to their parents.
The School Enterprise Plan is designed for schools and covers the full Getmore platform – payment, attendance, news, and general notifications for parents – with dedicated onboarding and account management. Contact support@getmore.lk for custom onboarding.
